Hannah Jacob

I believe this is my best quality piece because of the amount of precision in the shadows and facial features. I am especially proud of this one because it was my first portrait after a long break from drawing.

I made this after S4, and it is one of my favorite pieces (and seasons!). I just got new colored pencils and it definitely made a difference in the vibrancy of the colors and the quality of the shading.

Not one of my favorite shows, but I did enjoy S1. My dad requested this one and he likes how the jacket turned out. I usually have a hard time drawing men’s hair, so it was nice that he had a hat on:)

There’s definitely a common theme here of tv characters. I drew this with my old colored pencils so it’s not as refined, but I think it turned out good for the skills I had at the time.

Monk is my favorite show of all time. This piece is an earlier one so I was still learning how to render faces better. I sent this drawing to Emmy Clarke (the actress), and she responded saying she loved it!

The summer before high school, I saw everyone drawing this picture so I decided to join in. I will always remember it because it was the first piece I was really proud of, and it motivated me to improve my skills.
